There are many charismatic Fellowship churches and evangelical churches in Liverpool. All over Merseyside the number of these churches is growing.

Fast Forward

In the last year or so the church has grown a lot, and some very significant, even miraculous, things have been happening in the lives of many of those who come. Emmanuel Baptist Church is now moving forward rapidly and it is clear that God is doing something remarkable amongst us.

Change is in the air, and there is an expectancy that God is going to do something tremendous. This year, amongst other things, Allan was inducted as our Minister; the building is being transformed to accomodate more people; new groups are always starting up; and the level of hunger for Jesus has been growing.

God has given to Emmanuel an exciting vision of what he wants to do through this church in the Netherton area and beyond. In fact, the church is buzzing with talk about the purposes of God. Given that a few years ago Emmanuel was only a handful of people, it is remarkable how much growth there has been.

However, we believe that God has given us our first target.....
