Getting to EBC
Buses to Netherton leave from Liverpool city centre in Queens Square.
Bus numbers to Netherton include: 56, 156, 55A.
Emmanuel Baptist Church is on Fleetwoods Lane in Netherton (near Liverpool).
Here are some directions from the motorway....
From the M6 go onto the M62 heading towards Liverpool until junction 6. At junction 6 turn right at the roundabout onto the M57. Stay on the M57 until the end (Junction 7). You will see 'Asda' on your left. Take the 2nd exit (left) at the end of the motorway onto the A5036. (You will see 'Total Fitness' on your right). Get into the right hand lane to turn right at the lights. (The police station on your right hand side). This is Copy Lane.
Take the first left turn (which actually looks like you are going straight ahead,) to a mini roundabout (30 Yards). Take the first left at the mini roundabout, and go over canal bridge (traffic lights) on to Browns Lane. Bootle High School on your left. (Watch out for speed humps!) Carry on to the end of this road until you reach the roundabout.
Go straight around the roundabout onto Glovers Lane. (There are shops on your left).
Carry straight on over another canal bridge. The road now becomes Fleetwoods Lane.
Emmanuel Baptist Church (a triangular looking building) is just on the right hand side,
about 100 yards after the bridge, set back a little from the road. There is a car park to the rear.
If you get to the British Legion you have gone too far!
