God has a purpose for your life. He wants to use you to make a difference in the world. You are his first choice for what he wants you to do, and your life is very important to him. It matters to God what you do with your life more than you could dream. He longs for you to seek his heart for your life and discover all that he has in store for it.
God does not want you to waste the years that may lie ahead of you. Instead he wants you to know the greatest possible joy in life by being obedient to his call. You may not think you have a calling, but you do. You perhaps have either not been seeking God's heart about what he wants you to do with your life, or you have not yet admited out loud to anyone else the calling you have suspected for a long time. Often God's Holy Spirit touches us with a deep ache inside us to pursue a particular path. That tugging feeling may last for years before we admit to it. Other circumstances may help us to understand God's will, and it will always be consistent with the Bible. What God wants you to do is seek him with all your heart. Then obey his call.
You will almost certainly feel unable to do what he asks of you. Remember what Jesus did with a small group of unlikely people ? He changed the whole world! Jesus still loves to choose unlikely people in unlikely places to do things that will show those around what his grace is able to accomplish through a person that the world may not measure highly.
