Changes to the building

The main alterations to the church to accomodate more people have mostly been completed now. There's now a new suspended ceiling with new lighting (but new lighting rig with spots etc added soon). New carpeting fitted (and new chairs coming soon). The old platform and baptistry have been demolished and a new platform built in a better location. The whole thing looks great and up to date. New backdrop to the platform added soon.

A large new entrance hall (complete with sofas and a video projector link into church - useful when church is overflowing) has been finished. All the worship area windows have been replaced, and new blinds added. Old pews are gone. The sound and video / mixing desk etc equipment has been moved, and the sound booth demolished.

While these changes are helping, they are still only the first phase in developing the site to make space for the growing church. Eventually we'll need to rebuild a much bigger facility on the same site or relocate to accomodate everyone.
